Jeremy it was so awesome to read about the shrew metabolism - imagine, with nothing else to eat, the shrew will eat himself. As far as stimulating gum growth, just take care of the gums you have. Getting new ones, or, in reality, moving them from one place to another, is something you NEVER want to do!
